Designed by Home Housing's design team, LMS were appointed to carry out environmental improvements on a housing estate in Trimdon. This involved building new front garden brick walls, featuring metal railings. Vehicle hardstandings and pathways for pedestrians were added and timber divisional fencing was erected to complete the project. |

Initial work on this project was to demolish an existing car-parking area. Working with the Home Housing designers LMS then constructed a new car park using block paving. This was extended to the pedestrian area and the finishing touch was added with the planting of a variety of shrubs. |

This environmental improvement work on five properties was again designed by home housing. Brick walls with metal railings were constructed in the front gardens and patios were added to both the front and rear gardens. All clearing work to old gardens and importing of topsoil for turf to be laid was also part of this project. A new pedestrian walkway was constructed using block paving and metal bollards were added to restrict vehiclular access. Divisional and boundary timber fencing were erected to complete the transformation. |

Carried out in four phases between, this large project involved a vast amount of environmental improvements to this popular housing estate in Durham. New brick walls with metal railings were built in the front gardens of the properties, rear gardens were cleared and divisional timber fencing was erected to both front and rear gardens to complete the project. This project was carried out in conjunction with Home Housing’s design team. |
